Akshay Jain, is a leading figure in the marine industry, known for his innovative problem-solving skills. With a Naval Architecture background from IIT-Madras and executive training from Harvard Business School, he leads strategic direction, business development, and technology integration. Akshay’s global expertise in shipbuilding, repairs, and consultancy, alongside roles at the Indian Institute of Naval Architects, underscores his influential leadership and recognition with the Young Alumni Entrepreneur Award from IIT-Madras.
Lalatendu Acharya
Director – Technical
Lalatendu Acharya brings over 25 years of global experience in vessel operations, system design, and project management. With expertise in ship’s design analysis, Class entry evaluations, and statutory compliance, Lalatendu leads innovations and major conversions. Previously, as AVP (Technical) in a leading cement manufacturer’s shipping division, he managed a fleet and port operations, overseeing a large onshore team. Lalatendu is a Marine Engineer from DMET, renowned for his strategic leadership in maritime operations and technical advancements
Dhruv Prajapati
Manager – Project Management
Dhruv Prajapati is a skilled Naval Architect from the Indian Maritime University’s inaugural class. With almost a decade at Vedam, Dhruv excels in structural design, stability analysis, and project management. His expertise spans machinery, electrical systems, piping, statutory regulations, and production procedures, contributing significantly to our team’s success.
