EEXI Calculation

Rest your worries about whether vessels will be able to trade. Vedam calculates the EEXI for your ship and confirms if it complies with the requirement. We can evaluate your vessel’s EEXI based on the changing EEXI scope. We can also support you by providing the verification of various power performance assessments of energy efficiency processes.We prepare the compliant EEXI Technical File.

If EEXI is not compliant for your vessel, Vedam checks the possibility of reducing the engine power as a means to reduce emission.

ESD Selection

If EPL doesn't suffice,there is need to identify and plan for installing an ESD(Energy Saving Device).We offer a feasibility study that compares off-the-shelf ESDs to present you the best solution. Alternatively, we can design a ship-specific ESD, supported by comprehensive CFD.

Fuel Change

In the case of certain vessels, even ESDs may not work. They may require a fuel change. Vedam is equipped to assist you in converting you ship from Heavy Fuel Oil to LNG as fuel.

We calculate the projected CII or the Carbon Intensity Indicator and check the necessary compliances. Having checked these key details, we tailormake a CII improvement plan in tune with your requirements.

Enhanced SEEMP

The Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan (SEEMP) establishes a way to improve the energy efficiency of your ship, while keeping the process cost-effective too. Our capabilities include preparing the updated SEEMP as per the latest requirement.
