Overview:Vedam was engaged to perform a
comprehensive mooring analysis for the accommodation barge
Sea Stallion, owned by
Hind Offshore Pvt. Ltd. The objective was to evaluate the vessel’s
8-point mooring system under both intact and damage conditions to ensure safe and stable station-keeping during operations.
Scope of Work:
Intact Mooring Analysis – Assessment of the vessel’s mooring behavior under normal operational conditions.
Damage Mooring Analysis – Simulation and evaluation of vessel response in case of a single mooring line failure (“one-line damage”).
Preparation and submission of a detailed Mooring Analysis Report in electronic format.
Outcome:
The analysis was completed and delivered within a week, addressing the client’s time-sensitive requirement. Vedam’s rapid turnaround, combined with engineering accuracy, ensured reliable performance validation of the mooring system under both normal and contingency scenarios.
